Chorus, Perispomeni Publications and the Municipality of Eleusis invite you to the presentation of a book by Gerrit Bekker titled The colour of the shadow (translated by Elena Stagkouraki) on Friday, 22 September, at 20:30 in the Eleusis City Hall Municipal Cultural Centre (Council Chamber), 41 Hatzidaki street & Dimitros street. The event will open with remarks by the mayor of Eleusis, Giorgos Tsoukalas, the member of Chorus, Giannis Pappas, and the architect Irene Frezadou. The author will also be in attendance. Panagiotis Gkiokas will read a piece written by the translator Elena Stagkouraki regarding The colour of the shadow. 

The book will be the topic of a panel consisting of the following authors: Thanasis Vavlidas, Chara Cosseyan, Michalis Leventis, Michalis Spegkos.

Excerpts from the book will be read by: the archaeologist Popi Papaggeli, the actors Maria Kastani, Kleopatra Markou, and Alexia Fotiadou.
